Got off to a great start at 7.45am on a fine, windless morning. Traffic
was fairly light, as anticipated, and we had a safe cycle lane.
Soon we
were out of Adelaide and on the busy A1 motorway with no cycle lane,
numerous intersections to navigate through and traffic racing past at
110kms an hour!
We'd only done 10kms when Del's trailer tyre developed a flattie.
He had it fixed in no time and we were on our way again.
The
morning turned grey with a developing northerly head wind. It made
cycling a little more strenuous so we were happy to stay over night in
the little settlement of Two Wells.
We're in an old motel attached to
the local pub and there's a small IGA handy. What more could we want!
Only did 40kms today.
