Begorrah! It worked! Port Wakefield to Snowtown

We woke up to a grey, showery morning and a TAIL WIND! Left at 8.00am and took off like rockets. 15kms or so later Del had another puncture in his trailer wheel. Soon fixed it and then we hit hills! I walked up a couple but Del cycled them all.

Rode past salty Lochiel Lake hoping for a coffee at Lochiel, but it was a ghost town with derelict shops and a burnt out pub.

Arrived in Snowtown - a small settlement - and, in spite of the cold, windy weather, we decided to pitch camp at the local council run camping ground. It has clean toilets and showers, and a microwave for warming our coffee. What more could we want! More tail wind tomorrow would be nice!

Did 48kms today.
